If Broadcloth Hearts are firmer--
Than those of Organdy--

Who is to blame? The Weaver?
Ah, the bewildering thread!
The Tapestries of Paradise
So notelessly -- are made.

--Emily Dickinson (from #278)

Hey, after I left I realized I wanted to say why prose poems? Meaning why no line breaks?

good question -- I'm not sure really. I think a lot of it has to do with the tone of the poems as being fairytale-ish and a rebellion against myself and my diehard committment to the 10 syllable line of the sonnet for so many years.
